Why does a rubber helmet work more effectively than a tin foil helmet? Are there better alternatives?
Neither of those helmets work on this level. Interaction of the minds of the Human Species upon itself. Your mind is full of ideas and thoughts passing through it, when you are interacting with your senses. Each set of senses associate with various levels of thought. Most of the reactions are automatic as you have spent time learning how to respond to various senses. Try learning to focus your mind, and life will become a whole lot easier.
