Why does a person who even thinks Vampire love story get criticized?

I wouldn’t call it plagiarizing. If every vampire love story was plagiarism because of Twilight, we’d have to accuse little miss temper tantrum (Smeyer) of the same, because this has been a trend in literature for several years now. Years before Twilight was “dreamed up,” vampire/paranormal fiction had reached a peak in such genres as romance and mystery. The reason no one wants to hear about it anymore is because the market is flooded with them, just absolutely saturated. People saw the trend, and started cracking out vampire romance quicker than you can say “you suck.” No pun intended, but it’s been done to death. Every trend in literature goes that way. Soon it will phase out. In the meantime, the last thing anyone needs is another one, unless it adds something entirely new to the genre (which it in all likelihood won’t). Vampire romance=old and busted. We need some new hotness in literature!
