Why do young boys and girls become addicted to drugs?
There is no single reason. Most of the young people start using drugs out of curiosity or for pleasure, often under the influence of their friends and peer groups. Some take to drugs to overcome boredom, depression and fatigue. Lack of love and understanding on the part of those the person is attached to, also becomes a reason of addiction in some cases.
