Why do you want to attend the dfa campaign academy?
I just moved to the area and am interested in getting involved in grassroots/community activities like I was prior to the move. I have always volunteered and have always been active in my community. I recently graduated from law school and am working in public service. I am interested in working on a campaign and working as a community organizer. I believe this event will give me the skills and the connections I need to move forward. What do you hope to get out of the training? I hope to network with other like-minded individuals. I hope to learn new skills and create a new ‘action team.’ I hope to learn of and join active community groups. I hope to learn how to work on a campaign and how to mobilize voters.
