Why do you use a seyretfiles directory outside the components folder tree?

When you uninstall a component, Joomla completely deletes the directory under components folder. If we keep uploaded videos, thumbnails etc, you’ll lose all of them during a version upgrade process. So the best way to protect these files is to keep them outside of the components directory tree.
