Why do you think John Lenon was an important part of the hippy movement?
Listen to his very beautiful song “imagine all the people living in harmony … it had very powerful lyrics. May be some would not agree with all the song message as it includes a vision of a world with no religion; since he saw religion as dividing the people… Unfortunately John Lennon life was cut short by the bullets of a mentally deranged person. Lennon had big followers in the huge peace rallies at his time who devotedly and hypnotized listening to his concerts. Lennon was considered the brain leader of the beetles The FBI and Edgar Hoover followed him very closely, every minute and had ten thousand pages of him on file.
