Why do you require that clients pay the exam fee as a copay?
We are a non-profit, and the funds we have available for our loans are limited – frankly, as it is, our loan may not be sufficient to provide the full treatment recommended by the veterinarian. We require our clients to pay the copay up front to make sure that as much of our money as possible goes towards diagnostics and treatment, with the hopes that the treatment acquired through our funding will actually result in recovery – instead of requiring multiple trips to the veterinarian.
