Why do you recommend going to the MUSC Childrens ER?
The people of Charleston are very fortunate to have such a wonderful resource in the MUSC Childrens Emergency Department. This facility is fully staffed with pediatric providers who are trained to deal with any childhood emergency. As you are probably aware, our MUSC Childrens Emergency Department was ranked as one of the top 10 pediatric EDs in the nation by Child Magazine. As such, we will continue to direct all after-hours emergencies to our colleagues at MUSC.
