Why do you prefer to supply Kisscats with outboards, rather than inboard motors?
The primary reason we recommend outboards over an inboard is comfort! The best piece of sailing advice #2 is – Own a boat with a quiet motor! When motor sailing we recommend the use of only one outboard at a time – from the forward berth the engine noise is barely perceptible. Compare this to an inboard which are noisy and transmit low level vibrations to every far flung corner of the boat. Try five days and nights of continuous running a noisy inboard diesel…. even when you turn the engine off you can still hear it deep inside your brain for hours!!
