Why do you focus on contemporary art forms. Arent heritage and classical art important too?
French contemporary art has changed a great deal in the past decade or so and our priority is currently to focus this aspect of French culture. France currently has a lot to offer – and to learn – in the contemporary arts. In addition, the approaches to contemporary art in the UK and in France diverge in many ways and we believe it is a particularly interesting and important time to explore these differences. That said, we certainly recognise the importance of cultural heritage and will assist such projects as far as possible.
