Why do you call Delta Delta Delta a Fraternity?

0

In 1888 when Delta Delta Delta was founded the word sorority was not in common use and the word fraternity was applied to both men’s and women’s organizations. Our National Constitution and By-Laws were established using the word fraternity. There are several early Greek letter women’s groups which are also called fraternities.
