Why do you bother to post links to multiple sites that have the same article (i.e; AP stories)?

0

A few reasons: • Sometimes the article has been edited on one of the sites so I list all of them because I want to make sure that I have the most complete version. • Not all sites keep their articles available long-term so having multiple links to different sites increases the odds that I’ll be able to find it again online in the future if I need to. • Occassionally, I forget to check one of my regular sites, or a site doesn’t get updated one day for some reason, or I just don’t have the time to check all of my sites. If I post all of the links that I find, including those that I know to be duplicates, then when I look back at a day’s set of links I can tell if I checked a site by whether I have something posted from that site or not.
