It is in the best interests of our partners, the programme, beneficiaries of the project, and you to make sure you are aware any potentially problematic situations. Most of the volunteers who go to our projects say they have a life changing experience. We wish to provide everyone with this opportunity. Quite a few volunteers who have been to our projects and have had counselling for numerous reasons prior to their trip have found that, in many ways, they are more able to cope with many of the emotional challenges they may face. However, we need to know if extra support will be required. You can discuss any issues you feel are relevant at your interview if you do not wish to include details on your application form.
