There is no reason for them to grunt. Some men do it. I just think it is distracting and unnecessary. For some reason, it has become more acceptable in the women’s sport, which is why they grunt more.

Men also do this but it’s is MUCH louder and more distracting when the women do it. I think it’s to annoy their opponent more than anything else.

Im assuming you are male by the tone of your question. Women grunt because we naturally have less power than yall men, so we grunt to try to get more power.
