Why do women laugh at and put down men that want to become women?
There are haters out there, but they are the minority. For most, I think, it’s the same for women and men. They’re just unintentionally acknowledging what they have yet to fathom. For a great many testosterone driven young men there is no more powerful force in this world than the drive to protect their masculinity. It’s ironic, but only at its most superficial. Most people, once they actually meet and know a sincere transperson, take a few less things for granted. That is not to say that all transpeople are sincere. Just like the rest of the world there are plenty of rats out there to appear on shows like Jerry Springer.
