.) The weeds don’t actually grow through the interlock. They grow in the cracks of the interlock where sand had been swept in previously. To reduce weed growth significantly, instead of filling the cracks with sand, we sweep in limestone screenings which harden to rock. This keeps the weed problem at bay and keeps the ants away too!
