Basically because a lot more time is put into them and only top quality ingreditent are used. I offer a complete personalised service for your wedding cake. This involves a consultation of approx1-2 hours if needed plus any extra consolations you may require. I will then get back to you with a design or designs for your cake and a written quotation. I am there on the other side of the phone to discuss with you any worries, changes or alterations to your cake you may have. Your wedding cake will be designed personally for you to suit your taste and theme. I will make no more than 2 wedding cakes in a week, so that your cake gets my best attention. Extra time is spent on wedding cakes to make sure the finish is as good as possible. All wedding cakes have a coat of marzipan and then sugar paste (unless it’s a chocolate cake or otherwise stated).
