Why do we wait until the month before the wedding to make specific music selections and place them in the ceremony?
It’s important that couples have met with their officiant and solidified the ceremonial program. Once the “flow” is established with your officiant, and all the specifics, such as number of bridesmaids, order of procession, etc. are nailed down, it’s much easier to put music in place. Preliminary music research is fine, but the final consultation needs to take place closer the event, when all these details have been settled.
