Why do we use WebAssign?
There are several reasons we decided to use WebAssign. First, it is a more reliable manner of submitting your assignments than US Mail (which is still very reliable). You can view your submissions and know that we have received your work. With US Mail there is always that slight fear that the envelope will take too long to reach us or be misdirected. Second, it allows us to offer you faster feedback on your assignments. Using US Mail it would take a couple days to receive your work, a couple days to grade it, and a couple days to return it to you. With WebAssign the transit time is essentially zero – meaning you get your grades and feedback much sooner. Finally, WebAssign creates a greater sense of community. By using the Bulletin board system to post to one another, students can help each other with course material.
