Why do we need to complete such a detailed program information form (PIF) if we are going to have an actual site visit?
A. The PIF documents the program plan for the site visitors and the RRC reviewers. It is the best way to demonstrate that the program is in substantial compliance with the program requirements. Site visitors are compliance, not program, experts and may have limited knowledge about preventive medicine. The PIF helps them correlate the program requirements with the educational experience provided by the program.
