Why do we need a network focused on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender in Tesco?
Research by Stonewall has shown that employees are more productive when they feel comfortable to be themselves – to be open and honest about their sexuality in the workplace, and through creating, supporting and publicising the LGBT network, Tesco signals to its LGBT employees that this is a safe and supportive environment in which they can feel comfortable to be open with colleagues about their sexuality. We also want the best talent to come and work with us from across the country, and for our staff at all levels to reflect the communities we serve.
