why do we have Valentines Day at all?
A gloomy young lady is sitting on a bench, waiting for the bus to arrive. The day is Valentines Day, but why is she sad? Is it the cold? Is it because the bus is late? Who knows. A young man is also waiting at the same bus stop. He is late for his meeting with his friends, but it doesn’t seem to bother him. Although he did not receive anything either, but he is just fine the way it is. However, he cannot stand to look at a person being so gloomy on Valentines, thus he pulled out a small pack of chocolates he was planning to share amongst his friends. The girl looked at him, as he extended his hand to give her the gift. “Here, it’s for you”, he says. She thought that he must be crazy, giving a gift to a complete stranger. “Oh don’t worry, it’s not poisoned. I just can’t see someone so gloomy during a day like this”.
