Why do we call our jewellery Pure Welsh Gold when it contains other metals?
Only gold of Welsh origin is used in our Pure Welsh jewellery pieces. It is not mixed or diluted with gold from any other source. It is Pure Welsh. Please note that standard jewellery fittings (called findings in the jewellery trade) that are supplied, such as earring butterflies or jump rings for instance, are supplied in standard gold of world-wide origin. This enables any jeweller to replace just that part if, for instance, an earring butterfly is lost.
