Why do violet light wavelengths have the most energy…?

0

As the energy that a wave of light possesses increases, so does its frequency. So higher energy light waves have higher frequencies than lower energy light waves. The range of light which is visible to us is laid out from lowest frequency to highest (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) with other forms of electromagnetic radiation being above (x-rays and gamma rays) and below (radio waves and microwaves). This is all to say that light doesn’t have more energy because it is violet, but that light is violet because it has more energy.
