Why Do Vets Recommend Purina???
Honestly? It is an age thing. Back in the eightys Purina provided a lot of vets with samples and freebies. They did a lot of one-on-one marketing directly to vets. Now most vets recommend Hills for the same reason. When the companies market directly to them, they learn to recommend it. It is just a subconscious thing. They see all these reports about how wonderful the food is, and hear all the sales pitches. So they just tend to recommend what they see as best.
