Why do Ugandans have a negative attitude about locally manufactured drugs?
Ugandans still have a perception that ‘made in Uganda’ is inferior to that made in Europe. There is also a general belief that what is expensive is the best and genuine product. We are aware of this and we have embraced a number of sensitisation campaigns where we encourage Ugandans to promote locally manufactured products.
