Why do those who disbelieve in global warming seem so adamant, unyielding and almost hostile in their beliefs?
I don’t know that everyone has that attitude. I’ve got a highly skeptical attitude. I’ve been around since the first Earth Day. I remember the predictions being made then. They were so wrong as to be the polar opposite of what happened. Supposedly we were supposed to be in a human produced ice age by now, but now we supposedly have human produced global warming. We were supposed to be starving even in the US by now, and it was a foregone, irreversible conclusion, and what we have is an obesity epidemic. So I take any predictions of the future with a VERY large grain of salt now. I have studied science (biology) at the college level. I was majoring in it until I realized that I’d have to get either a PhD or an M.D. and I didn’t want to do that. But I have seen up close and personal that science is not a pure search for truth by great men in white coats. It is a messy political process, corrupted by a LOT of money and done mostly by grad students under sloppy supervision by professors wh
