Why do they traditionally have fish for christmas dinner in germany?
It depends which part of germany, Goose is very traditional, but also Bratwurst (Sausage) with potatoe salad. They are a weird bunch, I am currently in Frankfurt, I would n´t recommend coming here for a holiday, The people are farkin miserable, and the beer is shat, They drink Apple wine in Hessen, Therfore for a good beer I ahev to go to Bavaria, Anyway also , The Germans do not eat a big Evening meal, They have somethin called “AbendBrot”, Which basically Bread and cooked meats, You can imagine coming home from a hard days work to find a loaf and a selcetion of cold meats arranged on the dinner table, no wonder the divorce rate is so blood If German woman are reading this, Then cook your man a decent meal when he comes home from work, Shnitzel ( Escalope of Pork or Veal) Haxe (Big piece of pork on bone).
