Why do they still Make games for PS2 and not for XBOX?
Well, Microsoft discontinued the Original Xbox console when the Xbox 360 came out, so really there isn’t a reason to keep coming out with new Xbox games if the Xbox’s are no longer in production. Sony just supports it’s consoles for the long run. The PS1 was out in the market for 10 years before Sony discontinued it, and the PS2 has been out in the market for almost 8 years and it’s still selling. Sony has stated that the PS2 will have a 10 year lifecycle, and PS2 games will be coming out for at least a few more years before it’s discontinued. The Original Xbox on the other hand was only out in the market for just 4 years before Microsoft dropped it. Sony also stated that the PS3 will have a 10 year lifecycle as well, so basically that means that when the PS4 comes out, the PS3 will be around for a long while. The PS2 would be perfect, and plus, the PS2 is cheap now, and there are thousands of games that came out for the PS2 (over 2,000 games).
