Well, I’ve heard from someone that the “Gray” part is from the colours of the exorcists and noahs.Noahs represent black since they create evil and kill and Exorcists represent white since they exorcise akumas in pain.If you mix those colours together it would make Gray.I’m guessing that that’s the best explanation of “Gray”.The “man” is usually the main characters like Allen, Earl, Kanda, Cross, Lavi, etc.Not many girls there except for Rinali, Miranda, and Rhode.I have absolutely no idea where the D. came from.The author(Hoshino Katsura) said it just popped in her head. D.Gray-Man ep 60 will probably be subbed and uploaded in 2-6 days.
