Why do the web submission forms often have a “confirm” box that must be checked before submitting data?
Many of our web submission forms have a “confirm” box to prevent users from accidentally submitting their data before they are ready to do so. Some internet browsers (including Internet Explorer) will sometimes submit form data if the user simply presses the Enter key, which a user might accidentally press when attempting to move from field to field.
