Why do the web pages look funny?
Different aesthetic sensibilities? The web pages are written in XHTML 1.0 (strict) or XHTML 1.0 (transitional), depending on whether applets appear in the pages. One possibility is that your browser is too old to display either XHTML and/or cascading style sheets properly. Try upgrading. Each page is validated against the web standard (see the yellow badges at the bottom of each page), so make sure you have a browser that follows web standards. 2. Why can’t I see any of the images? All of the pictures are in the standard PNG format. Some older browsers do not render this format properly. All newer browsers should have no difficulty. 3. What version of Java is required? Most of the programs require a minimum of Java 1.1, but a couple require Java 1.4. You can see what your version of Java is at the Java Test Page. 4. I found a bug in one of the models. Just one?
