Why do the various document processing functions have differing Print Point values?
Scanning and double-sided printing and copying have Print Point values that reflect the savings in paper costs that their increased use makes possible. Students that opt to scan their documents or make double-sided prints and copies will be able to produce more pages of content with their Print Points than those opting to make single-sided prints and copies. For example, a student making only single-sided prints and copies could produce 750 pages of content with their Print Quota, but a student opting to make only double-sided prints and copies could produce over 400 double-sided sheets of paper containing over 800 pages of information. If the student elected to make only document scans, he or she could scan up to 1,875 pages of information.
