This is because you have the “Show Fortress Color” option enabled. When transparency is set to zero, the word “Wintergrasp” is not visible, so the color of the time will change to reflect which faction currently controls Wintergrasp. You can turn these colors off by unchecking “Show Fortress Color” in the options menu.
