Why do the TEV fans have such low noise level?
This is the result of working together with a famous Swedish technical university. The construction is built up from testing and animation done in a special sound calculation program. The main part is that the fan is built without welding operation. When using welding, parts are fixed to each other by forcing the material in position. This means that the material itself becomes stiff in a wrong way, and can not move in a dynamic way when vibrations occur. The frequency waves in the material will be interrupted by the weld and this creates critical frequencies and high noise level. ( almost like waves at sea, they move in a smooth way until they hit the rock then the sound occur) The Plymovent fan leads the vibration through the cabinet in a dynamic way and this reduces the noise level.
