Why do the students have to finish the entire tutorial before the seminar?
The library seminars are an extension of the skills covered in the library tutorial. It is important for reference instructors to be able to summarize the main concepts in the tutorial then move on to introduce students to more practical and advanced applications of that knowledge. Efficiency depends upon students’ preparation and familiarity with the subject matter.
