Why do the Russian Brother and sister, Marat Safin and Dinara Safina spell their last names differently?
it’s because they’re russians, and russians have different endings for their last names if you’re a boy or a girl.- see, in their case marat is safin cause his a man, and like dinara is a woman you add an a after, and you get safina.- you have another example in maria sharapova and her dad yuri, she’s maria sharapova and her dad is yuri sharapov.- hope i made myself clear, 🙂
