Why do the prints I ordered from my local lab look different from the prints I received from Pictage?
To ensure perfect print matching, our computer monitors are calibrated to the specifications provided by Pictage. We can only guarantee perfect print quality from the labs that we use. If you are using your disks to make prints, we suggest using a local, professional lab. These labs should closely monitor print quality and if you are unhappy with the quality, they should fix it for you. Most chain labs, both local and online, use automatic machines which the tech may or may not know how to adjust. Prints may come out too bright, too dark or the color may be off. Use your best judgment when creating prints. You should be happy with the quality of these prints as they are your wedding memories and will be cherished for many years to come.
