Why do the police around the stadium wear full riot clothing?
Sean explained that his staffs are told to be friendly and any staff not doing so can be reported to him. Policemen should not wear balaclavas on a match day, as this is not their policy. Policemen will wear their normal helmet whenever possible but their protective helmet must be worn if they feel it could be required. Sean agreed that he would go away and look at the policy and relax the dress code wherever possible. The police feel that the biggest presence is noted at the end of the game, but the committee feel it is during the game as well. Supporters feel that we are all labelled as thugs.
