Why do the heaters red and yellow lights come on and off when the heater is running?

This is a normal operation of the ceramic heater. As your room reaches the desired temperature set by the thermostat, the red and yellow lights will turn off and the heating elements will shut off. However, the heater’s green light will remain on and the internal fan will continue to run in order to flush the hot air out of the heater. When the room temperature drops, the thermostat will sense the change in the room temperature and the heating elements and the yellow and the red lights will turn on again.
