Why do the DPW vehicles need to be stored inside?
The current design of the new facility has most of the DPW vehicles and equipment stored inside. This will increase safety for the employees, reduce the winter response time in emergencies, reduce outside noise in the neighborhood, and will increase operational efficiency.
