Printing a web page may cause background colours to dissapear by virtue of the way Internet Explorer ‘sees’ the page. By default, Internet Explorer does not include background images and colours when a page is printed. To ensure they are included, go to the Internet Explorer menu and click on ‘Tools’ > ‘Internet Options…’ > ‘Advanced’ and check ‘Print background colors and images’. If you select ‘Print Preview…’ from the ‘File’ option of the menu in Windows Explorer, you can preview the document before printing it to a PDF. You may also find the width of the pages to be cropped – if so, adjust the margins through the ‘Page Setup…’ option. The papersize should match that selected in PDFcommmander.
