Like families the world over, your sponsored child’s family probably made sure their child was looking their best for the World Vision picture – even if it meant they had to borrow clothing from someone else. You can be sure every child is in need. A photo of a child is often not able to portray the many needs or problems that exist beneath the surface, such as malnourishment or underdevelopment.
