Why do the car companies put speeds of 140mph, etc. when speeding is illegal and causes death?
Speeding does NOT cause death. STUPID PEOPLE driving recklessly cause death. Just because the speed limit may be 55 to 70 doesn’t mean your speedometer should stop there. Years ago Ford made there cars with a speedo that only listed 85 MPH. It was DUMB! You know the car will go faster. They know the car will go faster. Now what about people that like to race their cars (legally at the track) Guess they just have to guess how fast their going after they get passed 55 MPH huh?
