Why do the Brothers and Sisters wear habits?
The habit is an important sign of our commitment and is intended to set us apart, but not to remove us, from those we encounter on a daily basis. It is a reminder that we have made a commitment to the religious life, even though we live most of that life in the world. It also unites all the members of the community, and makes us easily recognizable to our Parish family as well as those to whom we minister.
