Why do teenagers not like community services?

0

I don’t think it’s true to say they don’t like to do volunteer work. Maybe it seems that way because community service is so often forced on them that they don’t always find it meaningful. Perhaps also because they haven’t had enough time to find a type of volunteer work that really means something to them, or that really brings them fulfillment. Teenagers who like to do community work will gain empathy and compassion for the less fortunate and will also learn about how to fight for what is truly noble and altruistic instead of what is created simply to please important people when they choose which community work they should participate in. They will also get a head start on learning how to interact and get along with other people.
