Why do steroids make men grow breasts and women get a deep voice and beard?
Steroids interact with the hormones that are already in your body. Because the mixture of hormones in a woman’s body is different from the mixture in a man’s body, steroids can have a different inpact on women and men. Remember, while the intended changes from steroid use are temporary, some of the not so desirable changes may not be.
