Why do some waters have more liberal ice fishing regulations than others?
A. Waters with more liberal ice fishing regulations are traditionally those lakes and reservoirs with large populations of fish other than trout. On those waters anglers are allowed to use up to six lines while two lines are allowed elsewhere. All the waters under this special winter ice fishing rule are listed in the Wyoming Fishing Regulations.
