Why do some scopes have blue rings or yellow tinted glass?

As the leader in riflescope technology, Valdada Optics usually introduces 3-5 new scopes every year. In our efforts to always improve our products, we make changes regularly and the older scopes become discontinued. They are always serviceable and carry our warranty with the appropriate documentation. Sometimes the changes are for cosmetic or ergonomic reasons, other times it is a construction change. The blue rings scopes had our signature color, but enough requests came in for all black that we dropped the blue. As far as some scopes being tinted yellow; THAT IS NOT A TINT. The glass was a very special limited edition made by SCHOTT GLASSWERK and it is actually the color of the glass, not a coating. These scopes are collectors items.
