After collecting film camera bodies and lenses for 10-20 years, many photographers are having to reinvest large amounts of money in to new digital bodies and lenses. This makes their expense much higher than that of digital photography specialists. We have been shooting digital format for the last 10 years. When the Sony Alpha line came out, it was the best of both worlds due to the fact that our existing Konica/Minolta film bodies use the same lenses. This greatly decreased our upgrade costs.
